We`re at home again after our trip through the country. I think it did go well, two
good gigs one bad and one extremely boring one. Thanks to anyone who sat up the
shows, fixxing food, footballed etc etc, Also big thanks to BURNING KITCHEN and
STACK for some great shows Together! Also a great thanks to Frida and Anna-Karin
who helped out driving the bus!
We`re about to put the last additions to our
recording for the split with great band MY OWN LIES as soon as Erik can get back
to Östersund, He`s a busy man these days.

5/3 - All material for the
split whith My Own Lies is finished. As soon as the whole band
has rehearsed we´ll record the stuff. Six assel songs and one
cover.

WHAT / WHO |

in the summer
of 1998 three guys started to rehearse together on various youthclubs
in östersund. it was just an attempt to play some fast and noisy
music and a reaction to the lack of grind & punk in town. later
on we asked an old friend to join on vocals (erik) and he was
on. a demo was recorded and spread across town.
for a while the band fell asleep because anton, who played the
bass at the time, moved from town to study. we asked kristofer,
who was an old classmate to erik, if he would like to join on
the axe and a few weeks later we did our second recording. it
wasn´t too good, but we kept on rehearsing and started
to do live concerts. three local shows where done and in the
summer of 1999 we got an own rehearsal room at the old courthouse
in östersund. later that summer we did our last recording with
rikard on guitar that ended up in some compilations (2x7"
pfc and a cd on caf).
this was the second time we lost a member for studies in another
town. we didn’t want to put the band down so we thought
about possible guitarists and it ended up with gunnar. he was
one of the few people who appreciated us at the time and who
also had played earlier and lived with kristofer. we rehearsed
for a week and then did the first concert with him. christoffer
from ds-13 asked if we wanted to release a 7" on their
label busted heads records and off course we said yes. nine
month later our first record was out (till för oss, s/t 7"),
a split release between busted heads, putrid filth conspiracy
and sounds of betrayal.
since then we have been doing lots of concerts, two more recordings
and are heading for a tour. that´s all for now...

in chronical order. we´ve tried to translate the songtitles
to english so you non-swedish get a hint what it´s about.
demo 1 "även nästa års politiker har slips"(the
songs are "passiviserad", in eng. "passivised", "hat",
"hate". "politikerförakt", "contempt for politicians".
"maktelit", "power élite". "demokrati" "democracy".
"ideal", "ideal". "begär", "desires". "hat",
"hate /deathmetal version". "ödelagd" (orig. by local
hardcorepunks opposition).
V/A tape "reflections of a cruel world" (assel songs
are "hat","hate & "maktelit", "power élite").
demo 2 (given away to nice people at hultsfred festival
in -99).
V/A tape (some guy from the phillipins got in contact
and asked for a few songs. we can´t really recall which
songs we sent him, and we havn´t heard anything from him).
V/A cd "the punishment is here" (we contribute with the
songs "du är rädd", in eng. "you are afraid", and "känslokall",
"emotionally cold").
S/T 7" (we namned it "till för oss?", in english
something like "on our side?" and wrote that on the label. But
it seems to have disappeared during the pressing of the record.
so, therefore the record has no title).
V/A cd "united against racism". (we contributed with
the song "försvunnen", in eng. "lost". the rest of the bands
are pop, rock, hip hop & metal bands from our hometown. you
can get the record from new noise records. look below for link).
split 7" w/ second thought (will be released okt.
the 26th). songs are "tillbaka till ruta ett", "back
to square one". "För inbördes beundran",
. "you say". "hyckleri", "hypocrisy".
"rättsprocessen", "the trial". "pusrad",
(this is a cover by the band Raped teenagers. And it's not a
swedish word, so sorry. I can't translate it). "vuxen=anpassad?",
"adaopted to adult life?".
