Bergsala sent their first threat to me in Autumn 93.
They declared that they found my business illegal unless they gave their approval and that they now gave me a chance to continue by signing a binding agreement. I didn't know much about copyrights so I showed the threat to a lawyer. The lawyer sow no reason to worry but his advice was that I should go on dealing as usual.
Bergsala took the opportunity to warn all customers of dealing with those "illegal" second hand stores. They printed this warning in their free magazine which went out to over 300.000 homes. Parents were calling us to ask if this could really be true or if they could send their kids to our stores. I felt unfairly treated and tried to find a way to answer the slander.
