Synchronized skating is like ice-skating but you are skating with 16-20 people instead. In Sweden it is called Team-skating. It´s because you are like a "Team". There are 3 classes in Synchronized skating. One Minior class one Junior class and one Senior class. You are skating to a program with music. In the Minior class you skate to one program with 2.40 minutes music time. In the Junior and Senior class you have two programs. One short with 2.40 minutes music time and one long with 4.50 minutes long music time.
There are about 6-9 arbiters who decides how much point you get. 6.0 points is the best you can get.
In Sweden there are about 25-30 teams. In Stockholm there are two teams. Team Amazing and Team Poderoso. Team Amazing is a Minoir team and Team Poderoso is a Seior team. Team Surprise from Landvetter in Göteborg is the best team in the world!!
¨here are names on the teams too. Like Team Fire, Team Bluebird and Team Pacific.
I skate in Team Amazing.
