Dear Cousins

In this nice and warm summer day we meet and talk about pleasant memories from last year gathering in Park City and Mt. Pleasant. It is time to start planning the next reunion here in Sweden, the year 2006. We suggest to have it in August, a month usually with stable and nice weather. Better than in June! Hopefully we will be able to swim in the ocean.

This time the Sven family is in charge, i.e. Ulla, Hans, Birger and others are lining up for the planning.

We suggest to meet in Gothenburg on the Swedish west-coast and make excursions in the surroundings. It will be a change to last reunion in Skåne, with among other things a nature, which is quite different.

We have checked accommodation in a very nice place called Karralund, located in Gothenburg. (see www.liseberg.se). There are several alternatives for accommodation, including ordinary hotel, and cottages. This place is located in a forest area and only ten minutes (by tram) away from downtown Gothenburg. Essentially within walking distance from the town center, we have Scandinavia ’s largest amusement park (Liseberg) and several interesting museums. Among those there are two brand new and interesting museums of nature ("Universeum") and culture ("Museum of World Cultures").

We plan to present a few alternative touristic tours for different interests. Do you have suggestions or particular wishes in this respect, please let us know by mailing Ulla Kollberg, Hans Svensson or Birger Moeller.

It is recommended that relatives with access to a personal computer regularly check our home page to keep up-dated about how the planning proceeds. Please interact with us to let us know what you think about what we are coming up with. We in particular hope the young people will be helpful in suggesting ideas.

We intend to submit to you web-addresses describing interesting possible activities and give you information about what is happening in Sweden. A good idea is to update yourself on the program before arriving in Sweden. In that way planning your visit will be facilitated and if you have concrete ideas we will be able to make sure they can be realized.
